The differences between American English and British English.

Both American and British people speaks English.But there are some differences between the English spoken in these country. Here are some examples.For examples,the difference in spelling: for British English the word "centre" is spelled "centre" while for American Engligh,it is "center".Another examples is the word "colour".It is spelled as "colour" in British English while for American English ,it is "color".


Next is the differences in the use of term.For examples,in British English we use "biscuit", while for American English it is "cookie".Another examples is the word "football"."Football" is use in British English while the Americans use the word "soccer".


Futhermore,it is difference meaning for certain words.For examples,in British English the word "chicks" means the infant chicken while in American English ,"chicks" is means pretty and sexy girls.


Lastly, it is the difference in pronounciation.For examples,the word "can't" in British English sound like "can" in American English.
